Freaky Chickee

I've camped far down in the Everglades many times, and each trip I wonder how I managed to stay away so long. Given that there's very little dry land way "down south", campers set up shop on a series of elevated platforms. This requires a nonchalant attitude about big gators gliding beneath your tent—and more recently the possibility of a big python paying a visit. The silver lining? You wake to glorious sunrises smack dab in the middle of angling heaven.

John McLean's art is inspired by the inimitable Florida Everglades. Each print requires many hours to produce. John enjoys the versatility and efficiency of a digital canvas, and the way that computer-based drawing tools yield painterly results that mimic traditional formats like watercolors, oils and pastels. His prints are quickly gaining popularity due to their unique style and bold use of color.
